I'm pretty sure there marriage was a truce between the two sects but it was broken when he found out that she was abusing her and he divorced her, but I could be wrong.
I tried to like it but the age gap was just too much, not only was the ml falling for a literal 3 year old, but the fl who is an adult found a 16ish teenage boy cute. Like what???? And not to mention that the father literally neglected his child for YEARS and didn’t even pay a visit until she was at deaths door. Maybe I’ll pick this up in a few months….
