He didn't hit him cuz he favors him. He started to hit him when Roman started to lose track and go down the wrong path. Drugs and prostitutes.And I know that hitting like that until blood comes is very wrong and I don't support it at all. And now what I might say would be very conversial but in our Asian culture it's very common for parents to hit their kids. Not outright thrash them but they do hit a lot. And the fact that after going through all that, now it seems normal to me. Its so sad that something so wrong seems so normal to me .
I understand how you feel because I'm also Asian and hitting their children is normalized. But even with going down the wrong path, physically teaching someone a lesson only traumatizes them. It won't fix anything, I feel really bad for the real owner of the body. :( I hope in the future there won't be any more hitting for you :)
I was under the impression that he was beating him before that when they were still in poverty. He said that he would stop after they became rich but he didnt. So he always was beating him not just because he went down the wrong path. Also were did you read about him doing drugs and having prostitutes at? I know that he took drugs to overdose himself because he wanted to commit sucide. I also know that the man though he was doing drugs because mc became Roman and was acting different. I also know that the father wanted Roman to marry the girl so that he doesnt have to go to the army. Where do they talk about him having prostitutes and doing drugs outside of speculation and the sucide?
