Also keep in mind that their statues are different, u can’t just go take revenge since in the most reasonable scenario, she can’t do shit with a statues below, since again she doesn’t have the power to do so. She’s also in a diff body, so like how tf is she just gonna magically go like “yea this is fine, I know what I’m doing. I mean even tho this story is kind of shit, I think the author meant it to be that way. People expect mcs to be in the right and take action for things others have done to them. The classic revenge plot and I appreciate that since it portrays a reasonable desire that many of us have. But this main character is also somewhat realistic and reasonable. In this world some people are too forgiving and are easily manipulated, or just are too scared to do things. The author maybe wanted to show a story where it is all “u gave me trauma so now I plan my epic revenge” and instead showing a shitty mc who isn’t always the white of a black world, otherwise as in like the world not being all black and white. She’s a gray, someone who can be seen as pitiful for not doing something that would be reasonable to some, while others may relate to her as they fear revenge. I personally did dislike this but I did understand her because, even tho I have a strong since of revenge for those who have hurt me really badly, I still forgive them and don’t take action because I’m too scared and I just don’t know what to do.
