how the fuck is Tsubaki sexualized? HOW? There is no scene involving nudity or partial nudity with him. Who comes out of reading this story thinking to themselves "Ohhhh Tsubaki is so hot???" He's clearly portrayed as an innocent puppy. This story is about an innocent first crush. Kids have crushes all the time?? I definitely remember crushing on a classmate and a young teacher when I was in 5th grade.
If the story takes a darker/weirder turn in the future, then you can come and complain. Right now there is nothing wrong with it. What IS wrong is some readers sexualizing Tsubaki, imagining him as a top and all, but that's not to be blame on the story.

people complain about this when there is nothing sexual about their relationship at all. Tsubaki has an innocent crush on Yuu-ni. Yuu-ni's feelings for Tsubaki are completely platonic. The genre is shonen-ai because of Tsubaki's "romantic" feelings towards Yuu. It's fun seeing how Tsubaki is a simp in his naive innocent childlike way for Yuu, with Yuu being completely ignorant about it.
Screaming "pedo" at everything involving an age gap is bad practice. The word has a heavy weight to it, so don't throw it around so nonchalantly.
