    Somebody here said their theory is Jade warned the father to take an unmarked carriage since he had a bad feeling, causing Vieche who took a family carriage to be attacked in place of the father. So maybe he was reading peacefully knowing the dad took a different carriage but now Vieche is getting involved so... now maybe the reveal of both of them remembering their past will happen when Jade goes to save Vieche (=・ω・=)
