Someone’s past and upbringing environment is a hundred percent directly correlated to the kind of person they end up becoming. So yes, his past trauma gives the reason for him to act like a little shit now. That reason, however, is sad and harmful to himself and others (like skylar). You can understand and sympathize with someone’s past and how it made them become a monster WITHOUT having to forgive or accept their actions. He’s being a dick and needs to stop - that’s obvious. Doesn’t change the fact he was a victim of abuse and needs help some other way than whatever manipulative plan he has in mind. Reading stuff like this makes me wonder how many kids out there end up being screwed by shitty parents who can’t love their children for who they are, especially because this represents Korean and most Asian cultures…
100% agree with you. He's wrong, obviously, but again he could not suddenly change from the character that had developed within him. If we say "oh you're wrong don't be like that" will he change right away? No, it's a character that exists because of the environment. that's why I can't 100% blame Cirrus.

Omg I can't even blame any of them. They both have traumas that they don't want to tell others. Until they can communicate with each other about their own trauma, things will go rough for them.
