I definitely understand the uncomfortableness of the relationship due to the mental gap, but it's not like the author themselves don't address the relationship. Personally, I think it's good it's happening, because a lot of other stories dont mention problems like these in their books and completely ignores mental age gaps in between characters. People are just being so annoying, claiming they're 'dropping' it just because it has the bare minimum of romance.
People were threatening to drop SL if it has romance but I'm like if it's tastefully done and not all up in ya face what's the problem? Nothing wrong with hand holding and sweet kisses. Got downvoted and had people explaining why there shouldn't be any ಠ_ʖಠ

If their reason for being this dramatic is because the age gap i think they just too much, i mean as u said the author really think about how to address this mental age relationship
