I wouldn't say that she's naive but rather she is trying to believe that Cassius and Ain have changed(at least a little), so she trys to trust them, without questioning their actions
I like to believe that.
While don't mind that the villainlike childish father and son are cruel towards other assholes/scums...
I kinda find it very creepy/disturbing how they are trying to deceive, gaslight and manipulate the mature motherly actually self-aware "dumb" FL/Stepmother so she won't ever leave them...
I mean they really treat her well and they don't harm any "innocent" people but chapter 49 showed how insidious these two are for the sake of "love".
We know that she knows she was reincarnated in a novel where she is the matriarch of a "villainous" family clan. Even though she demonstrated some guts and is making the effort to change/reform Ain and getting along with Cassius, it's undeniable that she is quite naive, guilible and oblivious. (⊙…⊙ )
It doesn't feel right at all...
