right it’s so unnecessary and adds nothing to the plot. and people seem to get to mad when u call out the normalization of it in BL.
With BL content being the only way some people are exposed to LGBTQ+ , I worry what kind of idea it gives them... I hope they don't develope any stereotypes .

Of course there's rape . Is there any BL that doesn't contain rape ? Why is this so normalised in BL content ? I wish this wasn't so common . Like , it's so easy to create an interesting plot instead of putting in rape but noooo authors seem to think rape is an important plot point
