Yes, I agree with this. And I'd rather not let my partner donate unless it's his family that needs it, because when the kids grow up that shit would get way complicated than others think so and it will also affect the relationship which is clearly affecting it now. I say nope. Anonymous donation or they should get it between their families not just because top has good qualities for the child to acquire what a shallow decision.
It's a bit weird donating sperm or egg to a close friend. When the child grows it can become complicated. Very complicated. It would be better if it's a sister donating her egg to her sister or a brother donating sperm to his brother - but friends? It will be no for me. That said, I have nothing against Alex donating sperm, I'd advice it be an anonymous donation via sperm banks.
