Like hasn’t Rui already said in previous chapters that he likes Shion, I’m confused

Right everyone is saying he's being an ass, but he already said he liked him plenty of times. He has sex with him as a man to show he likes him as a man and woman. I think the issue is him not defining the relationship and not directly saying how serious he feels about shion.

Shion is also at fault if that’s the issue
Rui made al these things, and he keeps like “I don’t understanding anything”
Well if it were me I would get insecure too, like Rui and hesitant to say my feelings again
