my hunch is they all saved each other, jk's bro i think wanted to commit suicide together with his lil sis(maybe family problems due to money or career matters or he witness his parent's suicide also) and then haijin arrive in the forest to commit suicide too but he met the child jk and also find jk's brother too, they both interrupted each other's suicide attempt
