I mean yeah, Reynold was an asshole for a long time, and he definitely deserves all the angst he went through/will go through, but he was also just a kid. He literally heard a random girl his father brought home wishing for the sister he lost and he loved so much to never come back, and he was already suffering a lot because of the loss. The duke didn’t tell any of them about Penelope’s circumstances, so they assumed things based on their own negative feelings. He is a little shit and he was a little shit, definitely doesn’t deserve to be forgiven yet, but at least he is the only one trying to change, because now he understands something he wasn’t told before and he knows he was wrong.
Derrick on the other hand can suck ass lmao. We love character development like Reynold not downgrades hun
