I know a lot of other people are turned off by the whole "emotional incest because they still think they're siblings" thing, but personally, I'm still super interested in WHY things have ended up this way and I'm really hoping the author explains it at some point. Why did the devil/John fall in love with Annette? Does it really have to do with Annette herself as a person or is it because of her bloodline? Is the whole thing a subconscious ruse to tempt her to sin and force her to suffer by creating the illusion of incest? Was the fact that Annette was drawn to John as a kid even her fault or was it the cost of the curse that her mother used? Did John's devil self purposely seduce a child to ruin the rest of her life or does it feel genuine love for her? If there is genuine love, how the heck did the devil start having feelings like that in the first place and why did it skip over familial love into romantic love? Yeah, things are super fucked up but I'm really hoping there will be a interesting reason for how we got here in the first place.
Ok same cause like this whole work is so deep in regards to the psychological point of each individual. Like everyone’s actions are having a butterfly effect that you see in later chapters and it’s like mind blowing each time a new chapter comes out
Yes exactly it's very interesting and some people are really toning it down into one dimensional 'oh just incest gross' like nah it's complex and is mostly about drama. It reminds me of game of thrones

Yes but I feel like this is diving deeper into each individual characters’ motivation and desires which will have consequences that only show up later
