Well I feel like he already liked Hino but just denied it to himself cause of his past experience with love. And that umbrella scene made him realize that Hino loves him and won't use him so he let himself admit that he loves Hino. Well at least for me
yep. i agree. i don’t understand author’s note. this is not about accepting one’s flaws. this is just someone being disrespected over and over again yet continued to just accept being disrespected. hino is an extremely nice person so he just accept whatever yaku did because he loves him and yaku knew that so he used hino’s feelings to his advantage. apparently yaku wanted to change and treasure hino properly ? but where ? i see no changes. it breaks my heart when hino said “you’ll treasure me ?” with that meek face as if he has never been treasured before. anyway, i personally think this relationship won’t last.
I understand and respect your opinion. But still I think he deserve some punishment of what he did because having something in his past does not excuse his wrong actions to hino :").
