He confessed after Pauliana give birth to the emperor child(Lucius).Pauliana drunk and she is sad because she was trick by that doctor(The doctor want to marry her because of money).And that is when the emperor did it with her.They both drunk during that time.Paulianna got pregnant after that night.so she run away because she feeling guilty for having a baby with the emperor by giving an excuse that she need break.She give birth at the place she govern(Since she is Marquis she has her own place for her to govern) and yeah Lucius missing her badly so he went to meet Paulianna.Paulianna was done giving birth and was waiting for his adopted little brother to come(because he want his adopted little brother to take care the emperor's child ) ,but the emperor come unexpected and found out he got a child.Boom and there he is feeling excited confessing and kneeling to ask her to marry him.But hell, because Paulianna trauma because of that shitty doctor,she think she is woman and and Winter name will change,and she think the emperor marry her just because she has a child with him?(im not very sure her feeling during that time ,her feeling and reason make me angry like she doesnt want to accept she is woman and because she is woman her pride as knight is broke apart,so she feel sad because she couldnt become knight anymore and frustrated because the emperor that she trust want to take away that from her)instead of accepting or say she reject ,she went mad at him.I understand her reasoning but hell I still frustrated.Ahhhhh.So at first after the emperor seduce Paulianna(and after Paulianna consult with everyone and think deeply about it),Pauliaana accepted the emperor and want to marry him.(Lucius has beautiful face and Paulianna like it<3)but after that she run away again because she say she doesn't want to lose Winter's name after she marry the emperor.(Emperor's last name is clair so if they marry ,Pauliaana Winter will turn into Paulianna Clair.She doesn't want that hahhaa.Me too.hahha)And because of that the Emperor change the law that woman can keep their last name after married.And after that they have a happy ending. (She think so much and her reasoning sometimes make me mad!She thinks that nobody gonna like her because she is ugly,she has low self-esteem about her because of that fucking doctor!She want to have family like everybody but she got the emperor's child haha,she love her job so much and she love thatshe has her own property such as her land and her money but )
But she scared that she will lose her treasure after she marry the emperor.The knight(The first divission knight) think badly of her for giving birth to emperor's child and could get easily marry the emperor and because she is woman.The emperor once said that even if she is the last woman in the world,he doesn't want her because she is ugly.She love the emperor and still think she doesn't deserve him.She needs a lot of love,man .)

I don't read this part where she was trick by that doctor because I don't like the doc hahaha.Somehow he is to weak(to me).I start read at the chapter where she got drunk and frustrated because of that doctor.but I think the reason why she can get trick is because the doc treat her sincere and U know Pauliana dream want to have family and like have a little bit feeling toward the doc.So,she doesn't think tht she will be trick by the doc.
