I would get it if he JUST acted like he was interested when other people are watching because she does indeed make a good cover, by he acts like a love sick puppy even when others aren't watching which says that he either fell for her or is already falling for her. It makes no sense as to why. Maybe he's just the sadistic type that really gets turned on by someone cowering in front of him.

10 fucking chapters and she's still just a.... Person, she really does fit the role of an insignificant character, there's literally no reason why the male lead should have taken interest in her to actually care about her.
