J. But honestly the bar needs to be set higher. This man is really mean to the MC
it's becuase of a romanticized view of toxic behaviors. Really wish people would stop doing that. It preys on the "But you can change them!" feeling a lot of women have.
You can't change people, only they can change themselves and if they are being toxic you have to stop them from being able to hurt and abuse you.
I definitely agree we need to set higher bars. The bar is low and it gets lowered because he looks attractive? NAW. If he look hot RAISE THE BAR. He could be tryna use his looks to cover up his flaws.
