I read it as, she's trying to out the husband so to ruin his relationship, probably humiliate him publicly. I think she left the camera going, that's why she suggested a trip, she's hoping the husband brings the mistress home and the wife will see the video when she comes back

Sooo what I got from this chap is the MC husband was with the FL sister at first and she thinks the MC knows what she did? (Correct me if I’m wrong) so she’s trying to get revenge for her sister by making the MC leave her husband for her then she leaves the MC to break her? (Idk if that made sense but yeah-)
