Oh my I am sorry if a offend you but this is my opinion and as you said this is a free website where everyone can say and express their own opinions if you don't like what other thinks then don't read their comments. And who told you I don't respect the author if I did not respect him I would never had read his work I just said what I think and what other people like me would also think or not so stop messing with people freedom opinion.
I will admit this type of ending is very cliche and I saw it coming from
chapters away.
I suppose it's difficult to think of a good ending for a story that has gone for a long time which might be one of the reason he decided to do that while satisfying the urges of the shippers.
This just end like Naruto the main protagonist with the dumb and big bubs girl it was obvious that he and rukia had to end together but no sensei wanted to do the same as the other manga and give them kids for them to get together as boruto and sarada way he did not du something different and let rukia and ichigo together I am so disappointed two of my favorite mangas ended like this and it obvious that he is going to write a story but know with the kids pfff ...
