It was an experiment and i think he wouldn't do it on the FL in case it went wrong. Like he'd rather experiment on the sister bc he does not care if she dies, gets sick etc

it’s because eve is clearly not interested in him at least during that time. not only that but why would he experiment on someone he loves? all he wanted to do was to protect her, not to subject her to his experiments. he needed someone of royal blood so it only makes sense to use her sister since she’s someone disposable to him compared to eve. if eve was the one he ‘impregnated’, it would’ve only worsened his standing with her.
it was implied that he didnt get her pregnant himself. he thought "you dont even know where the sperm came from" or something like that in one of the panels, which means rosie thinks that the sperm came from him when in reality it's from another humonuculus; Also since it's an experiment it's most likely that there was no sex involved and the sperm was inserted another way.
I'm three chapters in and i think everything is wonderful except that I don't get his logic when he impregnated the sister of the woman he loves
