I’m so glad we got to understand his past more. I was so confused as to why he was in the house and where his parents were. No wonder Jiwoon is the way he is now, it seems he may have some traces of PTSD of Abandonment. Now I’m definitely NO psychologist or therapist, and we don’t know everything there is to know about Jiwoon and all that he does or feels, but just from what we’ve read and seen, that was the first thing I thought of. So because of the trama of his parents leaving and his grandmother’s treatment towards him, when he gets emotionally attached to his assistant, he will do anything he deems necessary to keep him by his side, especially after what happened in the hotel room which could have been a trigger for him.
Of course, it’s still some very fucked up shit and Jiwoon DEFINITELY JUST NEEDS TO TALK TO HIM ABOUT THINGS AND HIS FEELINGS, but talking isn’t going to happen ease his mindset of abandonment. Something or someone can’t abandon you if you never let it go. So that’s his reaction.
