No, he’s beating up the guy who was tailing him in the movie theater. Just like with the falling light when mc first used his powers, he’s not gonna stop the accident from happening, he’s just trying to make sure their aren’t casualties. The accident is still going to happen, and I think the people in the theater will be fine, but mc doesn’t know that Dohyuk left the theater to beat up his tailer in the parking lot, and he’s probably still going to get hurt since he didn’t stay in the theater.
