Right??? I have memories as a child of sitting on relatives laps, or friends of my parents' laps. There was nothing but familial affection and it wasn't weird. Children need affection, and as someone who has taught kindergarten and elementary school, I can say that children LOVE sitting on people's laps. It's only weird because people here are making it weird...
Idk why some people is so pressed abt rubiel sitting on his lap lol. I know it is strange to sit on stranger's lap as a lady or whatever but they're not strangers anymore. Read the last few chapters. They became close okay? Rubiel know how to act as a lady do you think she would just sit on someone's lap? No. If you feel pressed abt it, I think it's because you sexualize or romanticize their relationship. For God's sake! She's a child! She's 10! Their relationship can be considered as friendship or brother/sister relationship.
