Yes they were in bonten but what happened between bonten and tokyo manji gang is permanent and cannot be change anymore since takemichi time leaped 10 years not 12 so thats set in stone
And it also mean everyone who witnessed that fight saw takemichi and its possible takmichi even moved kaku's heart with his resolve so there a chance kaku would team up with him
