Dont quote me on this one but i think she consumed some type of poison in little doses from a long time through drinking tea and thats why her ‘disease’ showed up
She wasn't poisoned, she was just really sick. I think it's because of the incestious copulation in their family and it sadly affected her. That's why her sister has a weak constitute too.
