I stumbled a little at hades reaction as well. I get that the confession and her suddenly jumping in to save the priest are weird, but I would think once she released the brainwashing and gives him words of caution, he would at least try to make sense of her actions and give her a chance to explain

I wouldn't go that far that fast but I think she could actually reveal that she's been having flashbacks and memories that aren't her own and how she suspects that she's the reincarnation and that her body moved on her own and the words are words of a past self. It's not even far fetched since everyone expected it
But that'd not explain how she knew about that brainwashing act and the dark attribute and how to deal with it..
While she didn't even know how to use her ability properly at first.
But that would explain why she suddenly "turned on him" and give him a little understanding and hopefully some trust back until she's ready to reveal the rest.
I kind of don't like the new chapter. Because even though the misunderstanding was resolved, he still ended up viewing her in a different way. Besides, she does not seem like a different person, she is just reacting on the situation in front of her. Imagine. She was almost killed by a priest who held her wrist tightly, and the man she thought would protect her was brainwashed. Then she suddenly realized that her body is the reincarnation of the saint. And then she was accused of being together with the temple, deceiving the ML. And even after nullfying the magic, she still wasn't viewed in a favorable way. When all this time, all she was doing was for the favorable outcome for the ML's family.
