She probably dropped it off somewhere because it wasn't that important to include in the story. Butterflies took it away for her or she hid it somewhere idk but it probably didnt matter too much

I thought that she turned it invisible because her butterflies cause illusions so she made it look like she wasn't waring it. So she would not look suspicious or cause problems. But the other theory works too.
