So I read the novel a LONG time back, I didn't read the entire story though but I do remember this part. It was really unexpected and angsty. My memory is very blurry since I read this last year but i'll try to recall it to the best of my memory.

Basically, after her dad collapses Mielle starts screaming that Aria had pushed her father down the stairs. Aria was still in shock by this point but snaps back into reality and goes to grab her hourglass, then Asher comes out of nowhere and snatches Aria and he teleports her to another place. Mielle is extremely shocked by this since she had just witnessed Asher and Aria disappear in front of her eyes.

We then get to see where Aria and Asher had teleported to, it was to some faraway city (I think?? I don't really recall correctly) at first Aria was upset because she didn't get to use her hourglass, Asher then calms her down and then they go on a vacation, they go around the city, sleep at some motel (I really don't know:(, my memory becomes blurry here) Then Aria sees some kid getting beat up and uses her hourglass to reverse time and saves the kid. Then Asher sees the ring he gave Aria (idk if he was wearing it or she was wearing it but oh well) glowing, which means that there is magic around that significant person. From what I recall the ring is a royal family heirloom and it glows whenever it detects magic. Asher is confused by this because he doesn't know where the magic power is coming from. I guess he kinda suspects Aria.

We the go back to Mielle who was hysterically screaming that Aria had pushed her dad. But Aria was not there so everyone was extremely confused, then they find out the Aria wasn't even in the mansion and was actually in another city. After that we figure out that the counts (Mielle's father) body was paralyzed (he can't talk and is completely bedridden), he could still think properly and knew about everything that was going on. Mielle keeps telling everyone that Aria was the one that pushed the count but Aria wasn't there so she couldn't back her bullshit up. The count is super upset about what Mielle did but he's fucking paralyzed so he can't do anything about it. Aria then comes back to the mansion and the counts family is worried about his condition. The count begins to like Aria and her Mum more since they were the ones that worried about him the most. He hates Mielle now, Cain has this moment with his dad where I guess he kind of figures out that Mielle is the one that pushed his dad.

Now my memory becomes extremely blurry...
Aria and Mielle go to court. Mielle was really nervous since she didn't know what to do since she had no eyewitnesses or proof that Aria had pushed the Count. Mielle becomes desperate near the end of plea and begins to say that Aria had just magically disappeared long with the crown prince. She then get convicted of being guilty of pushing the count and is sentenced to house arrest. Mielle looks crazy to everybody and Aria is becomes the saint.
