I keep having the feeling the emperor might be an immortal too… wasn’t his mom’s experience something like seeing a dragon by the river and then it “transformed into a light and flew into her” and she was pregnant with the emperor? What if the emperor is a dragon immortal deity also in the human realm for some reason, but differently from Kang he has no memories of it? I mean the dragon literally turns into a light and flews into his mom. This gotta mean something meaningful about the emperor, the author just wouldn’t throw that information randomly in the story.
