Why the rape panels make everyone so uncomfortable but why not just skip over them? Like I just scrolled past them, because I saw it coming ambit also because it was only some insignificant character talking for them. So you guys could have just scrolled past?

some people have had traumatic experiences and seeing it drawn out freaks them out, can trigger anxiety attacks, hyperventilation, flashbacks etc. Without a warning how are they supposed to know the scroll past before they actually are reading it? thats why people are upset, because they WOULD have just not read the scene if they knew it was there. your personal circumstances and how you process things and can handle seeing horrible things is not indicative of how anyone else does. maybe a little empathy would serve u well here

I’m sorry what? What makes you think I’m not empathetic or understand their feelings? I simply stated that it was a VERY obvious lead up, and they could have scrolled past easily.

If you want to talk about empathy. Look before you leap, you don’t know me or my experiences so don’t presume to.

You are right about everyone processing things differently, however, you are essentially stating they are too ignorant to realize where that scene was leading, and with how obvious it is, that’s just a bit too much for me to accept as simple ignorance. The plain fact is, people will read it even if they know it is going to trigger them and then complain afterwards. Now, don’t misunderstand I am not saying everyone is like this but we both know there are a lot of people such as this.

Don’t come at me with nasty intentions, it’s such a pain when I had no ‘ill’ intentions in my original comment, simply to inform and offer a solution.
