I'm sorry for dissing this manhwa/novel but if you're expecting character development from THIS story, don't hold your breath. If you haven't noticed, almost all characters are just plot devices for the growth of the MC. Their character development is honestly weak, and on the off chance there is any, their contributions are almost inconsequential to the main story. But I guess that's what people like about it. It's a story to see an MC get real strong and defeat stuff easily.
I can't speak for other manhwa and their female characters but if that were true, that's very sad. Maybe it stems from the patriarchal nature of older generations.

Personally I'm not against literally any romance compared to some other readers i see, but in this specific case I just am not feeling it since it's felt so one sided up to this point. I'd personally be more into it if they felt more like equals as People, not necessarily strength, and and if Haein felt more like an individual but it can't really happen since yeah jinwoo op... i would love to see haein as her own person
(just checked your profile and you're reading the orv manhwa ahhh the manhwa is still super early in and i know it has no romance but as someone reading the novel rn i wouldnt even be mad even if the author decided to put het romance since i love the women in the cast as individuals and theyve actually had some sort of emotional connection w kdj and a good platonic relationship)
Y’all I’m incredibly sorry to say this at one of the most climatic moments, but I HATE how Mrs gurl was introduced in general ( the blonde sorry don’t remember names). Strong gorgeous, driven: only to have all her motivation broken down to her being infatuated with mc. I love her character but I hate how authors write female love interests specifically. Like they make their only personality traits and importance to the story being the mc’s significant other( ̄へ ̄)
