girl... this is a fantasy manhwa. there are literally demons and mages flying around blasting magic beams at each other. not exactly the last bastion of stunningly accurate medieval culture.
i think the author made a deliberate (and fckin weird) choice here to create this relationship with an honestly predatory age gap. no amount of "historical accuracy~~" can fix that imo.
u say it yourself. its fantasy. why would u want to compare a fake world with irl situation? plus, fantasy or not, the author can decide if they want to follow the medieval accuracy or not.
now abt the age gap, u can think whatever u want. i respect it. i am just saying the author might be following how medieval era was hence why the age gap was inserted into the plot bcs it was acceptable back then. tbh the age gap is indeed a weird choice. the author couldve just chosen a suitable age gap since the comic is made in 2000s but then, the argument here is 15-16 years old are acceptable age for marriage in medieval era :)
yeah all i'm sayin here is that the 16 y/o x 28 y/o situation is weird, and we should acknowledge that instead of hiding behind "historical accuracy" when it's clear that this is in no way supposed to be historically accurate
