Your brain can forget your experiences from the past if it thinks that it can severely damage your mental health (that’s why a lot of ppl can’t remember their childhoods, it’s bc their brain forced them to forget so that they could live without trauma), so it’s rl logical that the dude forgot everything. Also I think that sungho left school bc he was bullied and he couldn’t handle anymore or he was expelled for fighting
