AGREE!! Like this is the point the author wants to deliver, that Jaehwa is this kind of person. The reason we get to this part of the story. We actually see him having a character development but still being himself. I found it weird why people are hating him now when we are aware about his personality since the start.
Yo lemme be clear abt sth.... He certainly didn't do the right thing. If u read what he said to the bodyguard clearly then u should know he said all those things not because they are facts and the right thing but because he wanted to get back at the professor who forced him to join in.... In other words he involved a totally Innocent person over his own problems... Basically a disgusting person. Comment section is calling him petty cus that's a fact... It was totally fine if he ridiculed him privately but what's the big deal with him. embarrassing that kang dude for no reason is extremely rude. Being straightforward and being blunt is different from being a dick. He is a dick. Will u embarrass a totally uninvolved person to get back at someone else completely?
But we all knew his personality from chapter 1. We signed up for it. People don't change they just tone down for people they tend to care. So I don't see why he's being bashed. Also if you read it clearly said everyone was pretending to look good in front of the higer ups instead of giving a shit about the writers, As for his reasons if those reasons for which he embarrassed him wasn't true he could've easily defended himself and turned the tables on Jaehwa. I would embarrass someone is the wrong way of putting it. I would state true facts about someone uninvolved if they are true , no matter how blunt it is, If they get embarrassed because they cannot defend and justify themselves with logical reasons it's not my fault. I know pretty sure you're reading this thinking shot she has a pretty shit personality, well you're not the first one to think so, perhaps not the last one either.
As far as my view goes I'm not forcing anyone to like Jaehwa, they don't get his personality type and I said I like him and yes even with his shitty personality, and that's my view and 2cents in it.

I totally agree. And honestly I may agree cuz I have the same personality as well. I'm awfully blunt and I don't hold back on my thoughts and that often comes off as rude,cold and distrespectful to most people. I honestly understand where the uke comes from. We don't go out of our way, it's just we don't prefer lying through our teeth. I'd rather be honest and lie because the situation demands it and I think jaehwa did the right thing, fake compliments just cuz everyone likes it doesn't mean you have to, it's a free world, and he can surely express his critical views. Just like a critic, everyone is one these days isn't it?
And why would any critic that their life is in danger because they didn't like something and expressed their explicit views?
I don't know I think the comment section blowing up about how people don't like Jaehwa don't really understand people of such personality. Im sure my view here is probably ginna get tons of backlash and dislikes, but if you know people like Jaehwa then you'd also know that their personality, our personality is literally our first line of defence, the first wall before all the walls we built around us, and not everytime someone builds a wall it's because of trauma sometimes they just don't want to feel pain.
