Peach is a child, a Human being, does not deserve to be treated like that either. Her mom being in that situation does not excuses her actions regarding her child. If she understands that she needs therapy and help, she has to find proper suit for Peach, proper family that can raise Peach in suitable conditions. But being even more irresponsible and leave the child to two students who have their own problems is not making her better person. People should understand that if person decides to have a child they have to carry responsibility as well for the child. Cause it is not a toy nor pet to throw away if you have caught up in a hard situation.
The thing is (on what I understood) She don't want to loose peach and when you said like she should've give peach to someone who can telake care of her. She has trust issues. And thebonly onebwho she trust right now is Dustin. She is willing to get better cause she know, she's incapable of taking care Peach as of now. Trusting a stranger is a no good for people who suffers like her.

Yeah maybe that's her trust issue that cant make her understand what she is doing is still irresponsibility, but still, if she is going to have a therapy, and not being able to take care of her child she deciding to leave the child to two students who have their own problems -This part is not logical for me nor an excuse for the mother using trust issue to leave child to two students rather than reaching out her own family or at least the adoption centre. And I am not even talking about father of child. Who for sure deserves worst one can imagine for his inhuman actions.

she couldve put peach into foster care?? the organization she could send her to could be very posh and would take care of her since the mother is wealthy. if you cant take care of your own child get a professionals help not some university students help. and the whole trust thing is kinda flimsy when you realize that shes what? 20 something and they were childhood friends when they are ~8. thats a lot of time for someone to change and i wouldnt trust my child to someone i havent seen in a long time. they wouldve been acquaintances at most when she handed peach over.

People blaming Peach' mother for abandoning her . Like y'all should be glad that she didn't hurt or kill Peach. People with mental breakdowns could do worst since they don't have someone to rely on mentally. Yeah she's rich and all, but what can money do when your breaking down slowly? And its a good thing to have Peach on the guys since, Dustin is a very carefree soul. That he doesn't care about his F grade before. And Neil for being too serious in life. They can learn things while taking care of Peach. Didn't we see how it was going on now?
