I think it's less of " take-your-hands-off-me-you're-too-OP scared" than "holy-shit-he's-actually-OP-and-only-I-can-control-him-*lost in thought"-wtf-EW-SOMETHING-TOUCHED-ME-WTH-oh-it's-you-lol".

Just like how she almost did when mr. Ancient God suddenly touched her when she was lost in thought
I get that she's scared of everything and trauma is not something you get over with in a day but i think the way they're presenting her character is irritating. XD
She needs to be more confused than take-your-hands-off-me-you're-too-OP scared. Because she knows that he's powerful but she also knows that she can use his power for good.
