chapter 5

i mean, i couldn't blame anyone in this story. it's not like hayoon wants the accident happened, so when he went coma for years it couldn't be helped. even he couldn't get in contact with his own family about that, let alone informing taejoo that he was bedridden for five years. then it's natural if he wants to get back to taejoo as soon as he woke up. but sadly the first thing he saw was his lover has dated another person. from his perspective, it could be seen as betrayal, because hayoon never once said anything about breakup. forgetting someone you've been with almost half of your life needed plenty of time, that couldn't happen in just one day

the option of taejoo's to date another person also makes sense; if you put yourself in his shoes, it must've been a hell trying to forget your lover who went missing one day and there was no single text whatsoever. he tried to put himself back together in those years hayoon was lost. from his perspective, he took that as hayoon wanted a breakup. and then there's this one person kind enough to share all his hardships. he couldn't just broke off his new relationship with youngwoo just because hayoon has came back, he took youngwoo not as rebound but as new chapter in his life. if his heart got confused, and even wanted to go back to hayoon then that's a normal reaction because he practically been with hayoon since forever

even you couldn't blame youngwoo. he just wants to be loved, the same portion as he gave to taejoo. ofc it might started a bit tricky because he has been in love with taejoo since long time ago, but who won't do, if you were in his position? anyone would take a chance that maybe, just maybe the person would end up seeing you because you tried harder. if he's jealous with hayoon, that's understandable. he doesn't want to be defeated, after all he knows taejoo couldn't brushed off the fact that they've been together before they met each other

in conclusion, these characters and their personalities are just real. it feels like i'm the one experiencing the break up lol. gtg buy chapters on the legal site tho!!

still it isn't excuse for taejoo's to let his bf to control his life and use him like he did while taejoo's also use the new guy cause he "rape" him. that not how healthy relationship should be. so I do blame taejoo.
yeas I get it was hard for him but he should not use anyone else and let other people use him! he should take a long break and try to start over his life

youngwoo is a different story for me, it just seems so toxic & unhealthy, him wanting to feel love or being in love with taejoo still does not make it right to make someone believe they r*ped you. what youngwoo did make the relationship unbelievable because it didn’t start on a good foot instead he felt helpless and decided to do what he did & youngwoo knew it was wrong but still decided to hide it from taejoo. feeling bad for youngwoo is easy because you wanna feel sympathy for how he feels and what he’s been through present time but the actions are just so hard to forget & passby.

hmm look, i don't want to justify his action for 'lying' that one time when in fact he manipulated taejoo with his feeling. but human relationships are complex, not all of them starts with the trope 'oh i like you, you like me, we go jiggy-jiggy' not like that. in reality, all of us humans have a manipulative side and some using people around them for some extent, the difference is only whether you do it intentionally or not. that's why youngwoo's action is understandable, NOT excused. that's why you can see on the latest chapter uploaded he wanted to make it right and confessed his past mistake towards taejoo; but taejoo pushed him because he wants a break from their relationship to acknowledge what his heart really wants. people learns from their action, that's just humans are

anyway, if you perceived taejoo also using youngwoo to forget hayoon when he was missing, yeah you could call it like that. but the fastest way for move on indeed to getting a new love then let the time heal your wounds. the important point is, did they both were forced into relationship? no. taejoo was the one who decided to move on and accepting youngwoo, whether it was in form of responsibility or something

but the kind of relationship that started rocky like this tend to not last long, that's why it's bound to be apart in no time

the thing is that i know not all relationships start out like “you like me i like you….” but not all relationships are going to start out as “omg i did something wrong let me date you to show how apologetic i am” then the other party accepting it without saying no truth either. however, we all do need to understand that THOUGH humans have a manipulative side and it would be hard to get rid of, does not make manipulating people right or it shouldn’t be normalize. the reality of life is that not a lot of people deserve second chances, as much as i want to feel bad for youngwoo it just seems like a distance away. also in your first comment, when you said “ he has been in love with taejoo since long time ago, but who won't do, if you were in his position? anyone would take a chance that maybe, just maybe the person would end up seeing you because you tried harder. ” i don’t think anyone would do what he did just to try and make someone finally see your efforts, that’s actually fucked up NO ONE would take that chance and if anyone did that they need to get therapy or some kind of help. regardless, it’s my opinion and we’re obviously on opposite foots, as much as we are realists we see things diffferently.

I disagree taejoo actually agree to be in relationship from his own free will. to me it was the same as blackmail what makes it in my head a crime.
and I don't care how much the asshole manipulated him or love him, youngwoo still did a crime he should never do! and I would be happy to see him in prison XD
and I don't care how much humanes are "bad", that shit should never be done to people you love! NEVER! it just toxic!
