I agree with you : in real life no one get a second chance like this one, he knows what he did wrong and doesn't expect her to forgive him right away!
Some people forget that even a good person can do horrible things, but the difference is that they are aware of what they did ^^
I agree with these mature ass comments right here. He is not that bad,he made bad choices. And now he's back to try and fix it and avoiding the people who tryna mess with the family. Like.. do people not read it??
Ik people still don't like the ML because of all the things he did in the past, but he KNOWS he did wrong. He KNOWS he put his wife and son through hell. Whats important now is how he's trying to be better. It's going to take some time and not happen in the next few chapters but he's making baby steps. He publicly called her his wife and to not disrespect her in front of his ex fiance and all those people.
