agreed. it would be so weird. Lucas is an older dude anyway, knows all of her secrets, has been involved in all the drama. Ezekiel as a love interest at this point would just be beyond pointless.

I read a side story in the novel where Ezekiel and athanasia got married in another demintion and lucas was so sad that he cried but he let them be because he wanted athy to be happy and i swear i never cried in my life as i cried while reading this shit ╥﹏╥
Omg I wouldn't be able to sit through that. Lucas finds the one person he loves in 1000 years (guessing) after his mentor dies and watches her marry someone else T_T.
