Oh shit someone gets me I think the same. I know her mangas are always dark and twisted however I really like this one I ship the brothers so hard. I hope that Ikuro comes to love Ranzo.

Sorry I realized you meant the butler mistook it for the brother. I don't ship them at all because I feel Norihiko has no feelings for him and does everything out of obligation. For crying out loud he used to have sex with Ikuro's mom. Ewww

Personally, I see Norihiko as a victim of the wife.

As for him caring for Ikuro or not, it's hard to tell. I think he has become like the father and is obsessed over Ikuro and sees him as his own little insect in a cage of his making.

Yeah I feel you on the Norihiko x Ikuro thing. Norihiko definitely has feelings for Ikuro, but they're not exactly what most people would call love. I agree with you that Norihiko is obsessed as Ikuro and wants Ikuro to stay the way Norihiko raised him to be, but not like an insect, cuz he said something before about loving Ikuro's "noble soul" and "innocence". I think Norihiko wants to be Ikuro's everything, like how in the latest chapter he says he wants Ikuro to only depend on him. Ikuro is psychologically and physically dependent on Norihiko, kind of like imprinting but with a sexual relationship mixed in. Maybe I'm a little twisted myself, but while I like Ranzo and all, I feel like only Norihiko and Ikuro could actually deal with each other's shit. If Ikuro got with Ranzo, I feel like Ranzo's purity and innocence would drive Ikuro mad. If he got with his college friend his college friend would probs eventually be scared away by all the freakiness going on. I really feel bad for Sachiko(?) though...hope she doesn't suffer...

I also want ikuro to end up with Ranzou, i can not stand Norihiko. His attitude and actions are too grotesque (for my taste at least). Plus anyone who molest children is beyond forgiveness

Yes I really want Ikuro and Ranzo together. To me Norihiko takes adavantage of Ikuro's fragility. However tbh knowing how this mangaka writes her stories it could have a twisted and sad ending. Where no one ends up together. I really hope not though.
