I mean, it's not for everyone. I keep reading comments like these on bl works. Irregardless of the story being fictional, there's a shit ton of nuances in a three-way or poly relationship. You just don't get into one hoping to make it last when the characters involved are coded to be monogamous(monogamous-oriented for when you're a real person) and seeking serious relationships(not that poly relationships can't be serious).
There also seems to be a lot of double standards(not referring to OP). Some people push the notion of establishing a poly relationship in BL and GL media when I can't see the notion being pushed often for straight works(mostly shoujo and shounen; except Harem of course). I guess equality is a never-ending battle.
Yea nobody pushes poly to straight stuff. Anyways I said they could go poly cause it could open up a new plot and it seems like this love triangle or whatever this thing is, isn’t really going well for a mono relationship. Dude is stuck in love with two of them soo..
I mean they can just go three way…poly relationships exist people…….
