He views the brother as incompetent and blinded by his feelings of insecurity and he views cayena as someone who was loosen the power he had in the house. Cause cayena was removing her brother pawns in house and making a name for herself the brother influence and by proxy his influence was going down. Atleast that is what I’ve gathered from the story but I could be wrong
