Tbh u right, its just that the setting is in the medievals where "MEN IS RIGHT, MEN IS LAW" shit so the wives' opinion usually doesnt matter and so, no communication occurs

Why do men always think that it is up for them to decide if they are worth it or nah, can't you just let the lady think about that and then just try your best to be worth it or vice versa. Stop assuming things and just COMMUNICATE. I know it's because of insecurity that is why people think of that but remember IT TAKES TWO TO BE IN A RELATIONSHIP whether it is force or not or neither parties wanted this. Both parties should know where they stand in that relationship to avoid unhealthy and toxic relationship.
