It's probably bc rourou is still a kid, he can use his power unintentionally so those power show the person as however rourou wanna see him as-in rourou's case ppl are always shown as ducky prince that he adores.
I think it's 'cause he's still just a kid. He saw his grandpa as a duck too , when he was sick and staying at the hospital
