This is because she has a HEAVY dose of Toxic Codependency Syndrome. Those who are Codependent need the other person for emotional support. But in the childhood friend's case, her Codependency levels are so high that she treats it as if it is life threatening. As a result she is extremely desperate to keep him no matter what she has to do. Even if that includes lies, manipulation, hiding the truth or breaking his self esteem. And to add insult to injury, nobody called her out on her toxic behavior which implanted the idea that her toxic behavior was right. So, yeah. She don't need him. SHE NEEDS THERAPY!!!
she doesnt even know what she did wrong... and nevered cared for how he felt it took a whole month for her to notices her wrong actions even then she still hasnt fully understand. she wasnt just selfish she was abusive... she took out her stress and treated him like a sandbag... just because she could be rough with nobles she took it out on him instead to the point he vomited.... im sorry i do not care if she had repented i hope she wont be in the picture anymore. Noelia is the only girl i accept..... the ex calls him useless and puts him down so he feels like he cant do anything wthout her, she didnt allow him to get tested for magic when he should have been super strong maybe even more so than her. she isolated him from society then surrounded im with money and presents to make him feel indebt to her so he would never leave..... SHe is seriously toxic he did good running away. i hope he gets over his trauma and enjoys his life as well as rejecting her when she comes to get him back she doesnt deserves him
