I agree that he forgave him pretty fast, but that is because he can tell that Jinyao apologized honestly and really changed from who he was. There is no point in making someone suffer when they already suffer from guilt themselves.. also, Yi said he didn't want another child, and Jinyao doesn't know the embryo was stolen, so he doesn't search for the baby or a mother, because he respects yi's wishes
