Ah, but I thought yandere's prefered a more direct contact with their victims (to personally intimidate them and then gloat at their anguished faces) and let's say, a... more "hands on" (aka bloodstained) kind of method? (￣∇￣")
I mean, a yandere wouldn't just put him in harm's way then leave it to fortune... they'd also take care of hiring an enemy soldier to guarantee that he does pass away "casually" during a battle.
If you look at this in another perspective... the king or emperor would've been the creepy ex-boyfriend who either kills potential suitors or make them run away. But well.... idk ╮(￣▽￣)╭
