I don’t think that’s how she saw it. I think it’s bc Amon is a beast himself. And beasts act in a different way then humans. For example, how cats cuddle or head butt each other or lick each other? Cats, big and small, tend to speak through their body language, so their actions may be different to what humans do. So I don’t think that Bridey needs common sense in this moment, I think she’s just trying to not jump to a conclusion and make things awkward
