Nah, I've seen it happen before where they just up and kill the character at the end. It feels random and unfinished, like someone rolled a dice on how to end it and it landed on a corner.
The death and memory loss was still unnecessary idk
Ik that would be a sad ending but idk i feel like that would make the story better. I was just about to cry and that fucker said i can save him.... and then he lost his memory? That was cliche. I want to see their happiness but his death would make the story more impactful lol
